Microsoft Single Tenant Migration

Microsoft Outage: 5pm on June 3rd until 8am on June 4th

Outage includes, email, OneDrive, SharePoint, and other online Microsoft applications. 

Timeline and Details

  • Migration starts at 5pm on June 3rd.

  • Self Help, Classroom Style, and Desk to Desk staff laptop migration on the morning of June 4th starting at 8am.

    • Approximately 15-30 minutes to re-setup your account per employee.

  • Travelling or remote employees can be helped with remote software.

  • No new Teams, Teams Channels, or SharePoint 1 week prior to migration will be created.

  • Note: Unexpected notifications may occur during data transfer. These are safe to ignore.

Post Migration Checklist

  • Setup your password and MFA – after the tenant merge you will need to set your MFA (Multi-factor Authentication) again.

  • Sign into Apps – You will need to sign in to all apps with your account after the tenant merge.

    • Examples: OneDrive, OneNote, Office 365, Zoom, Asana (SSO), etc.

  • Mobile Devices – remove and re-add your Outlook profile and sign into any other work apps.
